Charcoal Gray

Sometimes there are clouds and sometimes there is just rain from a murky gray that is everywhere. You see a few headlights cutting through the gloom, but mostly everything is under a sober charcoal haze. Then you hear something that is perfect for that mood and view. Even if you never heard or liked Bruce Springsteen, take a moment for this one anyway.

A perfect story of what happens to so many young people in my speakers framed by the windshield and marked by the splashing of the wipers. The River was perfect. Listen to the words…so haunting and real.

Now under bright lights with hot coffee, the day starts like any other, but The River is still echoing the lonely feeling of the rain and the haze.
